Malek Public Service Leadership Lecture in October, said, "It is an honor to be here at the Wilson Center, named after a President that was a great champion for American leadership and for freedom on the world stage." Those moments will require us to have frank exchanges and more diplomatic engagement, not less, as Robert Daly has suggested in his work here at the Wilson Center."
