Ban: Battle against HIV/AIDS far from over

The global battle against HIV/AIDS remains in danger from discrimination, stigma and gender inequality, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon warned. Ban urged governments to ensure infected individuals receive treatment, to campaign to keep AIDS orphans in school and to seek an end to mother-to-child transmissions.
