[RED DEMOCRATICA] New from CFR! Interactive Multimedia Resources on the Global Economy

We invite you to explore two CFR interactive multimedia resources on the global financial system, ideal for helping students navigate the current economic crisis:

- Global Governance Monitor: Global Finance Regime

- Crisis Guide: The Global Economy

In the wake of the anniversary of the U.S. financial meltdown and following the G-20 Pittsburgh Summit, CFR's International Institutions and Global Governance Program has launched the newest installment of the Global Governance Monitor, focused on the global finance regime.


This is the second in a series of ten installments that seek to map and evaluate multilateral efforts to tackle the most pressing global problems. The first issue focused on nuclear nonproliferation; upcoming issues will include such topics as terrorism, trade, global health, and human rights.

The newest crisis guide on CFR.org is an in-depth, multimedia look at the causes and consequences of the global economic crisis. It seeks to unravel the questions surrounding the downturn and shed light on its policy implications, drawing on insights from leading thinkers on economics and international affairs.


Individual chapters include an overview of how the financial upheaval came about, a timeline of the crisis, expert analysis, and resources for further study.
