Les escribo para recordarles que la Coalicion de Organizaciones y Asociaciones Hispano Americanas del Condado de Passaic apoyada por diferentes organizaciones del Estado Jardin, esta organizando una marcha de respaldo a los derechos de los inmigrantes que son inherentes en la busqueda de una vidad digna incluida en la Declaracion Universal de los Derechos Humanos. Nuestra Coalicion pide: 1.- Un alto a las deportaciones que estan destruyendo familias y dejando a los menores sin la proteccion de sus padres. 2.- Un rechazo total a la inconstitucional ley SB 1070 de Arizona que perpetuaria la discrimacion racial y podria incentivar crimenes de odio. 3.- El inicio a un boycot comercial al Estado de Arizona. 4.- Detener la implementacion de la 287 (G) que podria crear temor entre los inmigrantes hispanos y la comunidad en general. 5.- Suspender el programa "Comunidades Seguras" hasta que una ley de inmigracion humana e integral haya pasado. 6.- Pasar el Acta del Sueno (Dream Act) que ayudaria a nuestros talentosos y motivados jovenes inmigrantes seguir estudios universitarios, hacerses ciudadanos para posteriormente contribuir a nuestra sociedad. La marcha se realizara este proximo domingo 30 de Mayo a las 10:00 AM. El lugar de reunion sera el Parque Christopher Columbus frente a la Escuela #11 de Passaic (381 Gregory Ave. Passaic, NJ 07055) de donde partiremos a Paterson siguiendo por la calle Monroe, se hara una izquierda en Myrtle Ave. hasta llegar a la Main Ave. por donde continuaremos cruzando la ciudad de Clifton hasta llegar a la calle Ward donde haremos una derecha y proseguiremos hasta llegar a la Plaza Juan Pablo Duarte(Frente a la Oficina de Correo de Paterson). Hoy Miercoles 26 de Mayo, tendremos la ultima reunion con los lideres de las diferentes organizaciones participantes y voluntarios para la coordinacion de la marcha. El lugar es el local del Centro Hispano de Passaic localizado en la 186 Gregory Ave. Passaic, NJ 07055. Por anticipado, les damos doce millones de gracias por su generosa y altruista participacion. The Coalition of Associations and Organizations asks to: · Stop the deportation of parents of American children that destroys households and leaves children behind. · Reject the totalitarian and unconstitutional law SB 1070 of Arizona that will perpetuate racial profiling and may encourage hate crimes. · Boycott to the commerce of the state of Arizona . · Halt the implementation of 287(g) that could create great fear among Latino immigrants and members of the general public. · Suspend "Secure Communities" until a general law of "Immigration Reform" has been passed · Pass the "DREAM Act" to help talented and motivated immigrant youth go on to higher education and contribute in our society. We will gather in the City of Passaic, at 10 a.m. in the park of school #11, (Gregory Ave. & Monroe St., Passaic, NJ 07055) then begin our march heading to Main St. and continuing through the City of Clifton and arriving in Paterson with our last stop at the Juan Pablo Duarte Plaza (Federal Plaza Ave and Straight St., Paterson, NJ 07505). Today, Wednesday May 26, 7;00 PM we will have a coordination meeting in the Hispanic Information Center of Passaic localized on 186 Gregory Ave. Passaic, NJ 07055. You all are invited to participate.
