URGENTE : DE INTERES PARA LA COMUNIDAD

Utah Economic Summit Event has been postpone and will commence on February 24th 2011.

Due to the effects of the severe snow storm that has been falling since last night, dropping over 15 inches of snow, all flights in and out of Washington D. C. have been canceled. As a result, Assistant Secretary John Trasviña was unable to board and be here today for the Hispanic Economic Summit.

His visit to Utah had been planned with 12 other meetings in Salt Lake City for which his presence was critical and signify a tremendous benefit to our State. It has been decided that in order to secure a personal visit to Utah it was adequate to re-schedule ALL meetings, including the Hispanic Economic Summit to February 24th this year.

We offer our most sincere apologies for any inconveniences that may crate for the stakeholders of those meetings but we believe that this small delay will result in a higher total benefit for the event, our chamber and the State of Utah and we seek your understanding and support.

El evento Utah Economic Summit esta cancelado y va comenzar el 24 de Febrero de 2011.

Debido a los efectos de una tormenta muy fuerte que derramo mas de 15 pulgadas de nieve en la costa este del país, cientos de vuelos en Washington fueron cancelados, incluyendo el del Sub-Secretario John Trasviña, por lo que no estaría hOy en la Cumbre Economica Hispana.

Ya que su visita a Utah fue planeada junto a otras 12 reuniones para las cuales su precensia era muy importante pero que también traerá muchos beneficios para nuestro estado, se ha decidido que posponer el TODAS las reuniones, incluyendo la Cumbre Económica Hispana, es lo mejor. La nueva fecha es el 24 de Febrero.

Pedimos las más sinceras disculpas por las inconveniencias que esto pueda causar pero creemos firmemente que este pequeño retraso nos permitirá tener mejores y mayores reuniones y obtener un mayor beneficio de la visita del Sub-Secretario. Le pedimos con respeto su comprensión y apoyo.
