WHO receives supply of semi-synthetic artemisinin
The World Health Organization has received the first shipment of semi-synthetic artemisinin, a component for anti-malaria drugs. The semi-synthetic product will augment supplies of natural artemisinin, "which ensures a constant supply of the drug," says Anthony Fake of WHO. IRINNews.org (5/9)
