Estimados compatriotas y amigos hispanos de New Jersey: Les envio mi respetuoso saludo y asimismo les ruego que se sumen a esta acion de llamar o faxear su peticion a los senadores estatales (esta adjunta una lista de los mismos) para que apoyen el In-State Tuition Bill y felicitar a aquellos que ya esta respaldando el mismo. Gracias una vez mas por su buena voluntad y les solicito que sigan las instrucciones que estan a continuaccion. Humildemente,  David Toledo, MA Activista Social Independiente January 6th, 2010   From: Charles "Shai" Goldstein To: In-State Advocates throughout New Jersey and the United States Re: Urgent Update   ·        S1036 New Jersey's In-State Tuition Bill has cleared the Senate Budget Committee and is scheduled for a vote in the New Jersey Senate Thursday January 7th, 2010 at 2 pm ·        Legislators are being swamped with phone calls, faxes and emails opposing this bill ·        Passing this bill before the Senate tomorrow requires the following actions: o       Contacting every Senator in Tier 1 and Tier 2 (see attached) and urge them to vote FOR IN-State tuition! o       Initially focus your efforts on Tier 1 and then proceed to Tier 2 o       Do not contact any legislators in Tier 3 unless you have a person connection (even then you are wasting your time) o       Make sure to thank Senators Buono, Sweeney, Codey, Lesniak* and ask them to continue their leadership role o       Thank Senators Ruiz, Rice and Cunningham for sponsoring the Bill and encourage them and also ask them to continue their leadership role o       Make sure to contact Senators Beach , Smith, Vitale, Sacco, Girgenti, Sarlo, Scutari and urge them to support this Bill! o       Contact any and ALL friends who live in these districts and urge them to contact the Senators to vote tomorrow at 2 PM ·        The Assembly is scheduled to be voted on in Monday but we will send details later ·        Upon receiving this email, please distribute this email widely and make your phone calls, emails and faxes throughout today!   CALL TODAY!
