22 March 2013: High-Level Interactive Dialogue of the UN General Assembly on Water Cooperation, on the occasion of World Water Day, 10:00-5:00pm

 

Dear Colleagues,

 

On 22 March 2013, a High-Level Interactive Dialogue (HLID) of the UN General Assembly will be held to commemorate the International Year of Water Cooperation as well as the twentieth anniversary of the proclamation of World Water Day. 

 

Building on previous events, this HLID will discuss the fundamental role of water cooperation in achieving water security. One of the main objectives of the event is to raise awareness and carry out advocacy at the highest level on the importance of water cooperation. There will also be an opportunity to share experiences and highlight the lessons learnt over the last 20 years in water cooperation. 

 

Accredited NGO representatives are welcome to attend. Please note that seating will be provided in the overflow room (R4).
