| To our esteemed readers, The Goettingen Journal of International Law wishes you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We hope that 2010 was as successful for you as it was for us.In March we published our Special Issue Strategies for Solving Global Crises - The Financial Crisis and Beyond including the results of our workshop of October 2009. The first regular issue of 2010 was then published in August containing a new category called GoJIL:Focus which provided a forum for vivid discussions about the ICC Review Conference in Kampala with contributions by distinguished scholars and practitioners, among them ICC Vice-President Hans-Peter Kaul, Professor Roger S. Clark as well as Morten Bergsmo, Robert Heinsch and Astrid Reisinger Coracini. In October the Goettingen Journal of International Law organized an international conference "Resources of Conflict- Conflicts over Resources" with Judge Bruno Simma as one of the Keynote-Speakers. Its results are going to be published in March 2011. During this year this law journal was quoted in several distinguished publications like the European Journal of International Law, International & Comparative Law Quarterly, Yale Journal of International Law, Human Rights Law Review, American University Law Review, San Diego International Law Journal, Journal of International Criminal Justice, Zeitschrift für Internationale Strafrechtsdogmatik, Gabriel Moens & John Trone: Comercial Law of the European Union, Springer 2010, Robert Cryer, Hakan Friman, Darryl Robinson & Elizabeth Wilmshurst: An Introduction to Interna-tional Criminal Law and Procedure, Cambridge University Press 2010, Marco Roscini: World Wide Warfare- Jus ad bellum and the Use of Cyber Force, 14 Max Planck United Nations Yearbook of International Law (2010). 2010 was a very eventful year for this journal and we would like to thank you very much for supporting GoJIL, the forthcoming issue will be published between Christmas and New Year's Eve and we hope that it will be a worthwile read.
