| Dear Supporter, Since 2010, at least 28 people have been killed in confrontations with Border Patrol agents. At least three people have died from such encounters in the first two months of 2014 alone. There is virtually no transparency into the status or results of investigations into these deaths or how agents involved are held accountable. More lives may be lost unless we push harder to limit deadly use of force and ensure justice for those who have lost loved ones to confrontations with Border Patrol agents. This is only one of the many issues the Mexico and Borderlands Team is up against in the next several months and we need your help to create meaningful change.
