Classified U.S. report foresaw Mideast uprisings

A secret 18-page report commissioned last year by U.S. President Barack Obama apparently identifies Egypt, Bahrain and Yemen as likely sites for popular uprisings, in the event that political changes were not undertaken by their autocratic rulers. "Vaccines save lives. We know that. You know that. Still, millions of people around the world go without the basic schedule of vaccinations that most of us in the west take for granted."

Women in Egypt are at odds with each other over the look of a potentially democratic country, with some activists pushing for an entirely secular legal code, and others seeking to maintain elements of Shariah, or Islamic-based, laws.
