AFRICA: Somalia Militants
Radio Garowe reports that heavy fighting in Somalia is ongoing and that one of the country's most feared militants, Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys, was named the new leader of the influential Hizbul Islam rebel faction. http://m1e.net/

AMERICAS: U.S. Fuel Tax Discussion
