LATINOS LEADERS TO ADDRESS PRESIDENT OBAMA NEW POLICY CHANGE GRANTING 
WORK PERMITS TO UNDOCUMENTED YOUTH

Salt Lake City – Salt Lake City, UT. – A few minutes ago the Obama administration issued a new change on immigration policy that would allow undocumented youth not to be deported and will be given work authorizations.  We applaud President Obama for taking a courageous move. Latinos in Utah and around the country have always believed that the President had the authority to exercise the Power of the Executive Branch to issue an execute order.
 
This new decision will allow hundreds of Utah Latino youth to apply for work permits and fulfill their dreams to continue the higher education.  Tony Yapias, Director of Proyecto Latino de Utah said "I am happy to hear this change of policy and now we must get all our talented Latino youth to continue to pursue their education. Not longer will the fear ICE agents and being deported"
