UN seeks access to Palestinian refugees in Yarmouk, Syria
The chairwoman of the UN Security Council, Dina Kawar of Jordan, is pressing for access to residents of the Yarmouk Palestinian camp in Syria to provide humanitarian and medical aid. "We have had almost no access, very, very little," said Christopher Gunness of the UN relief agency for Palestinian refugees. "So at the moment there's no UN food, there's no UN water, there's no UN medicines. There's very little electricity." BBC (4/7), National Public Radio (4/7)
