Just in case anyone else is considering collecting signatures on petitions at your local event on July 1st, below and attached is the wording that the Jersey City event will be using.

"I recognize the contributions of immigrants to our state. I strongly urge you to reject any legislation resembling Arizona 's SB 1070, a law that denies due process for immigrants, increases the likelihood of racial profiling, and criminalizes those who offer direct aid for immigrants. I also advocate that you support SR66 which condemns Arizona 's recent adoption of SB 1070 and urges the President and United States Congress to enact humane, comprehensive immigration reform that reunites families and provides a pathway to citizenship."

These will be printed as postcards and sent to NJ Senate President Sweeney.

"If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole body were hearing, where would the sense of smell be?  But as it is, God placed the parts, each one of them, in the body as he intended. If they were all one part, where would the body be? But as it is, there are many parts, yet one body." 1 Corinthians: 17-20
