Foursquare seeks to change its image with brand campaign
Foursquare has launched its first brand campaign with a focus on how people's preferences can differ. The campaign targets consumers in New York and Chicago with a theme that pits Foursquare against such review-driven services as Yelp and Urbanspoon. "The ads really go after the idea that we all have different tastes and different friends. ... The local and travel guides of today could be much better with personalization," said Foursquare Chief Operating Officer Jeff Glueck. Adweek (10/20)
