"A major focus of this year's [Social Good Summit] was youth and the next generation of global leaders for social good. Whether it was the mobilizing power of philanthro-teens in next generation philanthropy or the change young girls are already bringing to their communities through social action, panel after panel made it clear that youth will be a central component of the post-2015 development framework." UN Foundation's McArthur: MDGs are a test of world's commitment
The home stretch of the Millennium Development Goals will be a chance for world governments to display their commitment to solving global problems, writes John McArthur of the United Nations Foundation, even as the UN pursues post-2015 development goals based on gender equality, human rights and the rule of law.
