The fighting between Democratic Republic of Congo troops and M23 rebels must stop in favor of a return to peace talks, says United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, who is visiting DR Congo. Ban "urged [DR Congo] President Kabila to continue with the Kampala negotiations." The M23 called for a cease-fire during Ban's visit.
