MESSAGE IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH Dear Peruvian Fellow Citizen and Friends of the Peruvians:
Our President Barack Obama has promised an Immigration Reform and requested that our communities be organized. A group of Peruvian have organized the round table titled: "Analysis of the Reality of Peruvian immigrants in the United States". This event will be held at the Paterson Museum , located at 2 Market Street in Paterson , New Jersey . This event will be held on May 13 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Speakers are successful entrepreneurs, Peruvian leaders, a representative of the Peruvian Consulate and a representative of the current candidates for the presidency of Peru . • Make an analysis of the problems of Peruvian immigrants in the United States . The speakers are:
Doors open at 6:00 PM for registration and announcements. The maximum of participants is 80 and a modest snack will be given at halftime (10 minutes). Each speaker will have 10 minutes at most to develop his theme. The event will be divided into two parts: Exhibition of Argument and History and questions-proposals that benefit the Peruvian immigrant in the United States . Humbly
David Toledo, MA Event Coordinator Estimados amigos y amigos de los Peruanos En su ultimo discurso el Presidente Barack Obama ha solicitado que las comunidades se organizen. Por esto, un grupo de preuanos ha organizado a la Mesa Redonda denominada "Analisis de la Realidad del Inmigrante Peruano en los Estados Unidos"
La mesa redonda se realizara el viernes 13 de mayo de 2011 a partir de las 6 de la tarde en el local del Museo de Paterson localizado en el Edificio Thomas Rogers, 2 Market Street, NJ 07501. El ingreso es completamente libre. Uno de los objetivos de esta mesa redonda es el de incorporar planes de accion para enfrentar la actual situación de los inmigrantes peruanos, relacionados con su situacion migratoria, empleos, negocios, servicios de salud, capacitación, conocimiento de sus derechos civiles y la dificil situación de aquellas familias que son deportadas y como enfrentan su situación laboral a su retorno a suelo peruano. Durante este encuentro, los asistentes podran escuchar propuestas para la promocion y aplicacion de los programas de ciudadania norteamericana y capacitacion para mejorar el conocimiento de los derechos de los inmigrantes que viven en los Estados Unidos". El ingreso es libre.Se tiene prevista, una ronda de preguntas y propuestas para elaborar las conclusiones y elevarlas a las autoridades correspondientes. El periodista Roberto Bustamante, fundador del Colegio de Periodistas del Peru, filial USA, actuara como moderador del evento que culminará a las 9:30 PM.EXPOSITORES: • Dra.
