The Year in Review

As the new year approaches and with it, a second Obama Administration, The Wilson Center looks back at the issues, people, and events that dominated 2012. The past year brought a partnership with NPR, a new website and improved video and podcasts, the Wilson Quarterly app and a policy brief series on the critical issues facing the next administration. Below are just some of the highlights.

The National Conversation in 2012

In 2012 the Wilson Center and NPR co-produced The National Conversation. The series offers a wide range of views on the most pressing global and domestic issues. Each event, webcast live by Wilson and NPR, features top national and international thought leaders, experts, government officials and commentators -- moderated by a NPR journalist.
