UTAH CITIZENS HOLD PRAY-INS INSIDE SENATOR BENNETT AND HATCH'S OFFICES RISKING ARREST IN SUPPORT OF THE DREAM ACT
What: Utah citizens will ask Hatch and Bennett's offices to deliver the stories of American immigrant students to Washington D.C. and will pray that God will inspire them to make the right choice and support the DREAM Act. They hope to encourage the Senators issue an official public response in support of the DREAM Act.
Where: Wallace F. Bennett Federal Building
125 S. State St. Salt Lake City Utah, 84138
When: Tuesday, November 30th at 3:30pm
Why: The futures of many bright and talented youth of good moral character are at stake this week. The DREAM Act would allow American immigrant students who want to serve our country by enlisting in the military or going to college to obtain conditional residency and if continue to be good citizens they can apply for permanent residency. The House and the Senate are expected to vote on the DREAM Act as a stand –alone bill this week.
