How will South Africa respond to gang rape and murder?

The fatal gang rape of 17-year-old South African Anene Booysen is being likened to the recent fatal gang rape of a young woman in New Delhi. But mass demonstrations like those in India are unlikely in South Africa, which observers say has become too accustomed to sexual violence against women: As many as 33% of men admit committing rape, and South Africa had more than twice as many rapes in 2010-11 as did India. Separately, UN Women has launched a website advocating "Say No To Violence" against women.
