United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Thursday responded to aid groups' complaints that Security Council resolutions have been ineffective at resolving the crisis in Syria. UN rights chief: Syrian war crimes will be prosecuted
Those who have committed alleged war crimes against civilians in Syria will be brought to justice, said Zeid Ra'ad al-Hussein, the United Nations human rights chief, on Thursday. "Justice will be done, it may not be immediate, but hopefully as we go through the transition from total impunity to justice being realized, we will honor the victims and the kin of the victims," he said.
