Graduate students enrolled in this innovative course analyze the influence of culture, history, identity, leadership, and nationalism on ethnic conflicts and civil wars. To access the complete series, click here. BUILDING LASTING PEACE AMONG NATIONS How Enemies Become Friends: The Sources of Stable Peace In his new book, CFR's Charles A. INDIA-PAKISTAN RELATIONS Terrorism and Indo-Pakistani Escalation This CFR Center for Preventive Action Contingency Planning Memorandum by CFR's Daniel Markey examines the factors that would condition India's response to another potential terrorist attack by Pakistan-based terrorist organizations in the near future. The report analyzes the consequences of Indian military retaliation and Pakistani counterretaliation for the United States, and Washington's policy options for preventing and containing the crisis. --> Listen to CFR's Evan A.
