TEACHING THE AFGHANISTAN AND IRAQ WARS CFR President Richard N. Haass discussed approaches to teaching the Afghanistan and Iraq wars in the classroom in this special conference call for professors. FOREIGN OWNERSHIP OF U.S. ASSETS: NEW CHART BOOK Foreign Ownership of U.S. Assets CFR's Maurice R. Greenberg Center for Geoeconomic Studies has published a new chart book on foreign ownership of U.S. assets. Thanks to the growth of cross-border capital flows and the U.S. current-account deficit, foreigners now own fully 57 percent of outstanding U.S. Treasury bonds, and significant shares of other markets. --> CFR chart books provide a graphical examination of topics of geoeconomic interest.
