[RED DEMOCRATICA] Public Hearing on HB-70 Illegal Immigration

 

1ST PUBLIC EARING ON HB-70 ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION ENFERCEMENT ACT
 
Here is the Agenda for tomorrow first public hearing on Rep. Sandstrom HB-70 Illegal Immigration Enforcement Act. Tomorrow at 4:00 PM (see details bellow)
 
If you go to the Capitol for the public hearing please be respectul and don't get into any verval confrontation with supporters of Rep. Sandstrom.
 
We must also remind the public that Rep. Sandstrom bill will cost at least $11.3 Million to Utah taxpayers. That is not taking into account other related costs from social programs and services.  Even more expensive will be housing them in our jails, who will pay for that.  The State of Kentucky who is also looking to a similar law did their fiscal note and they came up with a cost of $40 million to implement.  The last I know Kentucky doesn't have as much undocumented as Utah. http://www.miamiherald.com/2011/01/14/2016343/kentuckys-immigration-bill-would.html
