Report: North Korea's violation of human rights must be prosecuted
North Korea has committed crimes against humanity -- enslavement, torture and political repression -- and the perpetrators of those violations must be prosecuted, says the United Nations Human Rights Council report on North Korea. "These are not mere excesses of the state; they are essential components of a political system that has moved far from the ideals on which it claims to be founded," the report says.
