CARLSON CFR's Religion and Foreign Policy Initiative has launched a "Spotlight on the Religious Community" feature to highlight recent publications and contributions by religious community members to the dialogue on religion and international affairs. The first in the series is John D. Carlson's article "Cashing in on Religion's Currency?: Ethical Challenges for a Post-Secular Military" from the new issue of The Review of Faith and International Affairs. If you would like to be featured, please send an email to outreach@cfr.org with details on your recent publication. We want to hear from you! A GLOBAL FIGHT OVER FAITH In a CFR interview, Angela Wu of the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty discusses how the recent violence against Christians in Malaysia and Egypt points to rising tensions over religious freedom and Islamic identity. She argues that these issues "should not be overlooked in U.S. foreign policy."
