UN tribunal praises indictment in Hariri killing

UN officials kept their promise to the Lebanese people to do "everything that is humanly and legally possible" in returning the first confidential indictment at the special tribunal investigating the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, according to prosecutor Daniel Bellemare. Already tensions are high, and the government has unraveled, in anticipation of the response by Shiite group Hezbollah, should it be accused in the murder. Here's Kofi Annan: 'When the Executive Board of the WHO convenes in Geneva ... I encourage them to recognize the importance of and fully support setting a measles eradication date.' "
