Report spotlights anti-malaria progress in 29 nations

More than two dozen of the 108 nations and territories hounded by malaria are on pace to eliminate the disease within a decade, according to a report by the Roll Back Malaria Partnership. The main hindrance to sustaining the global progress would be a drop in funding, said Eric Mouzin, one of the authors of the report, the release of which Monday was timed to coincide with the start in Seattle of the Gates Foundation's Global Malaria Forum. And through no fault of her own, even Beyonce may suffer."
