En este sentido, la proxima semana, 12 de septiembre en la ciudad de Mexico, se realizara el 1er Congreso Internacional de la "World Alliance to Transform UN" ( WATUN) a fin de continuar debatiendo los diversos temas de la propuesta con diferentes organizaciones internacionales y publico en general .Ademas, previo a nuestra reunion del 12 de septiembre, WATUN estara participando en la 62 Conferencia Anual DPI-ONGs sobre "Paz y Desarrollo. Disarm Now! " en la ciudad de Mexico a realizarse del 9 al 11 de septiembre. En esta conferencia estaremos participando con el Taller denominado : "El desarrollo Global y la seguridad mundial como resultado de la revision de la carta de la ONU (109)". Lets transform the UN to make it democratic and effective The World Alliance calls for the United Nations to hold a UN Charter Review Conference under Article 109 of the UN Charter. It works to educate the world community about the need to create a more effective and democratic means of global governance and puts forward specific proposals for transforming the United Nations. Next First International Congress of WATUN, we will examine specific proposals to transform the United Nations, focusing on achieving peace and disarmament, programs sufficient for solving our primary global problems, and how to create a binding and enforceable international rule of law. Please register in advance to attend the Congress and Model UN Review Conference. The registration fee is $25 – 70 per person, based on income and ability to pay, which will help cover the costs of putting on the event.
