CFR IN THE CLASSROOM: UNIVERSITY OF OTTAWA'S PATRICK LEBLOND

Patrick Leblond of the University of Ottawa's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs features CFR materials as part of the syllabus for his Globalization and Governance course. His students use the Finance component of CFR's interactive Global Governance Monitor to understand international agreements and organizations that govern global finance. Additionally, students are required to consult CFR's Crisis Guide on Climate Change to supplement Dr. Leblond's lecture on the environment as a governance challenge. Dr. Leblond also recently attended CFR's Academic Workshop at the International Studies Association Annual Convention in New Orleans.

NEW INTERACTIVE: NUCLEAR ENERGY

Nuclear Energy Guide

Concerns over climate change and energy security have spurred countries to re-evaluate their energy policies. The nuclear power option has been presented as a solution, but there still exists an array of obstacles to expansion. This interactive guide explores the past, present, and future of nuclear power, focusing on its unique benefits and risks.
