UN's Zeid: Defenders of women's rights deserve our support
Male and female advocates for women's rights have done much to secure the goals of the United Nations' 1990s conference on women, writes Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, the UN's high commissioner for human rights. "Their work, their activism and their courage deserve our recognition, our support and our respect," he writes.
