[RED DEMOCRATICA] Happy New Year from Foreign Affairs

Academic Update - January 2010

Dear Educator:

Happy New Year from Foreign Affairs. Our first issue of 2010 has received a lot of attention in scholarly and policy circles, especially for Bruce Gilley's examination of the Taiwan-Beijing relationship, Graham Allison's survey of atomic threats and demographer Jack A. Goldstone's take on how world population trends should be considered by policymakers. We're adding new content on ForeignAffairs.com every day including Christopher Sabatini and Jason Marczak's Snapshot arguing for more forceful leadership in the Obama administration's Latin American policy.

As you start your semester I'd also like to remind you of our $18 student subscriptions available at www.ForeignAffairs.com/StudentSub and our handy student-professor subscription form. Just print out this form and share it with your students to receive a complimentary subscription to Foreign Affairs.

Best,

James F. Hoge, Jr.
Editor
