Utah Driving Privilege Card impact on Latinos

SALT LAKE CITY— Proyecto Latino de Utah will be having a Press conference to discuss the impact of SB40 which came into effect on January 1, 2010.
This law requires the Drivers License Division to obtain a Certified copy of birth certificate for the issuance of the Driving Privilege Cards and asks an specific on the form (question #4) "Are you and undocumented immigrant" This question is causing a lot of concern in the community and representatives of the Department of Public Safety and Drivers License will be there to answer questions.
NOTE: From Noon to 1:00 PM representatives from the Drivers License Division will be answering calls from Spanish speakers on Radio Exitos 1550 AM.
