If Terrorist Attack Sparks Indo-Pakistani Crisis

India faces the real prospect of another major terrorist attack by Pakistan-based terrorist organizations in the near future. A new Contingency Planning Memorandum by Daniel Markey examines what India's response would be, the consequences of Indian retaliation and Pakistani counterretaliation, and Washington's policy options for preventing and containing the crisis. Call For Applications: 2010-2011 Stanton Nuclear Security Fellowship

A new fellowship made possible by a generous grant from the Stanton Foundation offers younger nuclear security scholars the opportunity to spend twelve months at CFR in New York or Washington, DC, conducting policy-relevant research. A complete description of the Stanton Nuclear Security Fellowship Program and the application process can be found here. Applications are due February 15, 2010.
