Massive job creation needed to keep up with population, World Bank says

The world will need to create 600 million jobs during the next 15 years just to keep pace with population growth, the World Bank says in its 2013 World Development Report. There are 200 million people underemployed, of which 75 million are younger than 25, and while most jobs will need to be created through the private sector, governments will need to remove obstacles to job creation, the report says.
