October 9th, 2012 Don't Miss Your Chance to Ask a Presidential Debate Question Voting ends at midnight. Don't miss your opportunity to demand a climate change question be asked at the next presidential debate! | You and 160,000 other citizens called on moderator Jim Lehrer to ask a question about climate change at last week’s presidential debate. He didn’t, but we’re not giving up. Are you ready to keep demanding a real debate on climate change? Here’s what next: The Commission on Presidential Debates has teamed up with Google to let you submit and vote for questions that you think are important to discuss. The Commission will then present several questions with the most votes to CNN’s Candy Crowley, who is hosting a town hall debate next Tuesday, October 16. The deadine for voting is tonight, so vote now! A great question has already been submitted asking the candidates, “What actions will you take to address climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions?” Please join me and vote for this question and demand for a real debate from our candidates on climate change? Future generations are counting on us. The National Climatic Data Center reported that 2012 is on track to be the warmest year on record in the U.S., smashing the previous record average temperature by three degrees. This is an issue too serious ignore. It’s up to you to make sure our presidential candidates take this problem seriously. Vote for climate change by clicking here now!
