Mining investments grow 46.2% during the first half of the year
Mining investments grew 46.2% during the first half of the hear in 2010 compared with the same period last year. The Ministry of Energy and Mines (MEM) reported that during the first six months of the year investments in the sector reached $1,704 million. This amount was used in order to install improved mining equipment for finding new oil deposits and for the exploitation of minerals.

Las inversiones mineras crecieron 46,2% durante el primer semestre de la audiencia en 2010 en comparación con el mismo período del año pasado. El Ministerio de Energía y Minas (MEM) informó que durante los primeros seis meses del año las inversiones en el sector alcanzaron los US $ 1.704 millones. Esta cantidad se utilizó para instalar equipos de minería mejorado para encontrar nuevos yacimientos de petróleo y para la explotación de minerales.
